We welcome you to this beautiful Manor House, (pronounced doo-my-ak) built in the 1700s. Surrounded by wild flower meadows, and untouched woodland, this is the perfect place for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway.

Located in the South West Limousin region, close to Limoges, we have some of the finest countryside in France. The area is steeped in history, with many Chateaux and interesting places to see, including towns and cities that date back to Roman times. Our village of La Chapelle Montbrandeix is on the famous Route Richard Coeur de Lion, which is the road taken by The Lionheart on his way back from the Crusades. In fact he was so taken with this area that he lingered here for some time.

Whether you want to laze by the swimming pool with a good book, walk the woodland pathways, or cycle the quiet country lanes, it is all here for you to enjoy. Your tastes may include kayaking, fishing, horse riding, golf, or one of the many outside activities. They can all be found in the area. We have a lovely 10 metre pool in the grounds for your enjoyment, as well as 17.5 acres of fields and woodlands to stroll in.

The Limousin - Perigord region is world famous for its cuisine and fresh produce. The local markets are very proud of their traditions, and go to great lengths to ensure freshness, and highest quality. The Fois Gras is a culinary delight, and the regional wines are some of the best in the world. Local recipes use the finest duck, truffles and country ingredients to make dishes you will always remember.

We enjoy cooking for our guests, and from the comments in the visitors book and the number of repeat visits, they have enjoyed dining with us. Using the best of the local produce, meat, game and fresh seafood, we present four course meals of which we are proud.
